Cambridge Audio has officially announced its TT50 Turntable

British manufacturer Cambridge Audio, will introduce this month it's new TT50 turntable. The TT50 was designed in conjunction with turntable specialist Pro-ject, that explains the similar design with some Pro-ject's turntable, however Cambridge Audio claims it's more than a simple re-badging, they added some modifications inside.

The TT50 was developed at Cambridge Audio's research and development headquarters, it results on a minimalist design based on a MDF chassis with a high gloss finish and an elastomer-coated acrylic platter. The proprietary arm and head shell are cast as one piece of aluminium fitted with an Audio Technica AT95E moving magnet cartridge. The turntable makes use of high-quality gold phono/RCA connections for the best possible signal transfer and is compatible with 33 and 45rpm by moving manually the drive belt between two pulleys.

JVC released new HA-FX300 in-ear Canal Headphones

JVC announced the addition of a new high-end model to its line of in-ear canal headphones. The new JVC HA-FX300 employs a range of sound-enhancing technologies, including an aluminum evaporation diaphragm, a new internal dual-metal structure and aluminum housing.

The driver is housed in a stainless steel base wrapped in a high-specific-gravity brass ring to eliminate vibration and energy loss, enhancing performance across the frequency range, according to JVC. Other innovations are the aluminum housings, designed to reduce resonance, and the use of OFC to minimize transmission loss in the 1.0 meter friction noise reduction cord.

The JVC HA-FX300 in-ear canal headphones come with with three different sized silicon rubber earpieces, a pair of memory foam earpieces and also offer a plug that is compatible with Apple’s iPhone. They are available immediately in several colors for a retail price of $99.95.

STAX Japan released the new SR-007 OMEGA II MK2 headphones, an improved version of the SR-007 to provide deep powerful sound previously unobtainable in earspeakers so STAX engineers developed a unique new electrode structure.

The headphones use a push-pull configuration built into a thick insulated resin case firmly fixed to the rigid body to maintain clear distortion-free sound. The earpads are made from high quality Sheep-Skin Leather for durability and comfort that are fully adjustable to the shape of the head, the power cord is a low capacitance wide format with 6 parallel PC-OCC (Pure Crystal Ohno Continuous casting) conductors.

The SR-007 OMEGA II MK2 features a frequency response of 6Hz - 41KHz @ 170k ohms and a sensivity of 100dB. The headphones weigh 365g and are also available in black (SR-007BL).

The ShowCenter 250HD is a robust plug-and-play digital media adapter that enables users to link any home entertainment center with all of their networked PCs and NAS devices. It is compatible with UPnP (Universal Plug-and-Play) AV media server applications and, it can be used along with Windows Vista, Windows XP or Mac OS systems.

The unit is equipped with built-in wired Ethernet and wireless 802.11B/G connectivity and it supports the streaming of audio files (MP3, WMA, WMA Pro, WMA lossless, WMA-DRM and PCM WAV uncompressed), video files (Windows Media 9, Windows Media 9 HD, WMV-DRM, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DivX 3.11 to DivX HD and XviD) and pictures in JPEG and PNG.

The french manufactuer Triangle introduced a few day ago on the market, its GALAXY 2 a new 5.1-channel home theater system which is priced at 1500 EUR.

The GALAXY 2 system includes 5 closed satellite speakers combined with the Meteor 0.1 Tc compact woofer. The cabinet finish is a combination of aluminium and piano lacquer that gives a perfect luxury appearance, besides the small form factor allows you to place the speakers wherever you want (wall brackets include). The woofer using a 210mm driver is self-amplified and delivers 100W RMS, and can be controlled by an infrared remote control. The 2-way satellite makes use of a 25mm tweeter TZ205 and 2x 80mm midrange S08_F60_MR1.

The satellite components may be purchased in pairs separately as well as the Meteor 0.1 Tc subwoofer, or you can replace it by a stronger model like the Meteor 0.1.5 or the Meteor 0.2.5.

Buffalo just released 2 new network streamers, the LT-H90LAN (Lan Only), and a wireless model the LT-H90WN (Lan and Wifi A/B/G/N).

"We are excited to introduce the first PCI Express Sound Blaster for the desktop PC, continuing our legacy as the de facto audio standard for PC digital entertainment", said Steve Erickson, Vice President of Audio for Creative.

According to the company the PCI Express version of the Sound Blaster Xtreme Audio still offers the same features as the PCI model such as the X-Fi Crystalizer, the X-Fi CMSS-3D function, the headphone surround effects and all the game audio libraries (EAX ADVANCED HD).

The Creative PCIe Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio will be available in end November in Singapore at a suggested retail price of $69.99.
