The Droplet LP3.1 turntable is designed to offer most of the Liu+ST100 combo's qualities in a cheaper, smaller and more pleasing entry-level compact package.

The turntable inherited the precision stainless steel bearing, German AC motor drive system from Droplet LP5.0 turntable, and one-piece machined black acrylic platter from Liu, only fitted with smaller Droplet shape Multilayer sub chassis. The whole system sits on 3 stainless steel adjustable balancing feet to ensure the deck is precisely level. As for the tonearm, it uses a multi-pivot static balance system made up of stainless steel and carbon fiber.

Consonnance's Droplet LP3.1 should be available soon, however, there is no word on pricing yet.

Its construction techniques and components have been carefully selected to provide the highest performance claims Consonnance, and it features a digital buffer circuit to eliminate jitter, digital sample rates of 768 kHz, a signal-to-noise ratio above 100dB and a THD less than 0.003%. The SoundWorks Radio 705 is the latest radio released from Creative Europe, the SW Radio 705 combines an incredible sound quality with a brilliant "retro" design. Panasonic is going to introduce this month, its latest DMP-BD30 Blu-ray player. Being the first Profile v1.1 compliant Blu-ray player to hit the market, the DMP-BD30 holds a bunch of new and enhanced features. Also it includes an SD Memory Card slot for playback of High Definition content recorded in the AVCHD format.

The DMP-BD30 gets a secondary video decoder for Picture-in-Picture (which displays a second image in a sub window), an extra audio decoder (allows the consumer to switch the sound between the main and sub windows), and the player offers the support of Deep Color Compatibility and HDMI 1.3B, 1080 / 24p playback.
