Panasonic has dropped a couple of stereo system, the SC-PM670SD with 2-way speakers and SC-PM870SD with 3-way speakers. Both systems are similar and feature ethernet connectivity for retrieving data relevant to what you're listening and both let you record from CDs, MDs, audio cassettes or the radio tuner directly onto SD memory cards in AAC/MP3/WAV formats.

Both Panasonic's systems will go on sale in Japan on April 18th.

Audio Technica has released new ATH-C100M headphones. Adopting a minimalist design these headphones feature 13.5mm driver units and weight only 5g. Available in an array of colors including black, blue, light blue, khaki, pink, red, white, there is also a special model called "crazy" which has several flashy colors. They will retail in Japan for about $15.

Another tabletop radio from Boston Acoustics' Horizon product range, the Duo-i. This time it adds an extra built-in iPod dock fully compatible with the latest iPod Touch and iPhone. Obviously there is an AM/FM radio tuner, dual alarms, Boston’s wrap-around "S-n-o-o-o-o-o-z-e Bar" (touch-sensitive outer trim), stereo 3-1/2" full-range speakers, two aux. inputs for connecting additional digital media players, video output and power/charge capabilities while the Apple's player is docked.

Boston Acoustics also offers optional interchangeable grilles in in red, blue, pink and green to suit your home decor for $39 while the Duo-i radio retails for $199.

The Audioengine W1 is a wireless audio adapter that lets you transfer music wirelessly from any audio device or computer to any powered speakers or receivers. The adapter provides a lossless audio transmission in a full 48KHz PCM digital stereo support over Wifi (802.11) within a range of up to 30m.

The AW1 system consists of 2 parts powered by USB, the transmitter which plugs into the headphone/line-out jack on your computer or digital audio player and the receiver which plugs into the input on your powered speakers or stereo receiver.

The Audioengine W1 wireless adapter is available for immediate delivery at an MSRP of $149.

Finally, the Classia series speakers from Infinity are going to reach the stores in the next days. This series, composed of four models with curved and contoured design elements, and incorporate advanced technologies including patented "Ceramic Metal Matrix Diaphragm" (CMMD) drivers, includes the C205 bookshelf loudspeaker, C336 floorstanding speaker, CC225 wall-mountable center channel speaker and C255ES wall-mountable surround loudspeaker.

Infinity Classia loudspeakers offer a wide choice of placements options, including on a wall, floor or shelf. The loudspeakers are available in high-gloss black and cherry-wood veneer finishes, both accented by silver and black trim, and include black grilles. Prices range from $349 to $899 each.

Released in 1972, the Sondek LP12 turntable has became the flagship turntable from the compangy. A few days ago Linn has announced a more affordable revision of its model with a new power supply circuitry, Pro-Ject 9cc budget tonearm, and Linn's Adikt phono cartridge.

It will be available on March 25th in Japan for a price of $3,750 in five different colors.

Expected on April 15th in Japan, the Panasonic RP-HT260 are closed-type headphones which feature for an affordable price $25, large 40mm driver units, an housing rotation mechanism for one-ear monitoring and a 3.5mm gold-plated jack plug. The headphones weigh 215g.

Unveiled at CES '08 in Las Vegas, Sony Europe officially announced the launch of its two new GIGA JUKE Hard Disk Drive Hi-fi systems NAS-E35HD and NAS-SC55PKE.

Both systems have a CD player, radio tuners with DAB on UK models, a dock for iPod, 80Gb HDD storage and high-speed ripping in Linear PCM, MP3, Window Media Audio or ATRAC audio format from various media such as vinyl, cassette, radio and MP3 players. The entry-level NAS-E35HD system brings all this flexibility to an affordable price of £300, while the NAS-SC55PKE which comes for £750 is a complete multi-room system of music server and wireless player unit, able to deliver music to up to five zones, wirelessly.

HD-DVD price drop continue, the Toshiba HD-A3 can be found now for a mere $89.99 at Crutchfield. The player comes with 2 free HD-DVD titles, 300 and The Bourne Identity. The HD-A3 not only read HD-DVD discs, it also supports the playback of standard DVD, DVD-R/-RW as well as music CDs and CD-R/RW.

At this price the Toshiba HD-A3 may be one of the cheapest DVD player with 720p/1080i video upscaling through HDMI.

The Hyundai H-MS1109 is a compact entertainment system equipped with a 7-inch LCD screen, built-in TV tuner and a DVD player. The multi zone DVD player is able to read a wide variety of formats, including DVD, DVCD, Super VCD, VCD, HDCD, CDDA, MP3, WMA, DivX, Kodak Picture CD and JPEG. Also it includes embedded USB and SD/MMC/MS memory card reader on the front panel, Dolby Digital AC-3/DTS decoder and an AM/FM tuner with 80 presets.

The estimated retail price is $250, but it seems that the Hyundai H-MS1109 will be available only in Russia.
