D-Link, the networking solutions provider for consumer and business, began shipping a new kind of media player, D-Link PC-on-TV, which enables users to bring their content stored on computer hard drives to their television. PC-on-TV (DPG-1200) is ideally suited for streaming video, photos and music Wirelessly (Wifi 802.11g) from computer to TV. It supports photo viewing at 1024x768 screen resolution and streaming video at 640x480 resolution at up to 30 frames per second through composite, component or VGA video output.

This media streamer is now available from D-Link's distributors for $240.
