The ZvBox from ZeeVee will be the first device that allows you to watch anything you can get online or on your computer from all your HDTVs. Simply connect the monitor output of your computer to ZvBox, then connect ZvBox to your home’s cable TV wiring. ZvBox takes the high resolution output of your computer, including Dolby Digital 5.1 sound, and creates a new HD channel that you can tune in alongside your other TV channels from any HDTV in the home.

ZvRemote, combined with a ZvReceiver that is attached to your computer, provides full control of your computer from anywhere in the house, including multimedia and cursor control. The optional ZvKeyboard, available August 2008, makes it even easier to compose email, surf the web, and type text for desktop applications.

Priced at $499.99 the ZvBox is available for pre-order at Amazon.

AktiMate is an active 2-way system for iPod with an integrated amplifier delivering 40 Watt per channel. The iPod located on the top of one speaker is compatible with the latest generation of iPod. There is RCA stereo inputs for connecting other devices, RCA outputs, video output and a USB port.

The AktiMate will be available soon in Europe for $650 in a gloss black or gloss white finish.

Sharp has introduced the HT-DV50H home cinema system, the latest in its line of home entertainment products. This 2.1-channel system delivers 250W RMS of total output power including tall boy speakers and subwoofer, it offers compatibility with Audistry technology from Dolby Laboratories, 1080i HDMI output, USB port and DivX certification

The Sharp HT-DV50H home cinema system will be available in the UK from the end of April 2008 with a retail price of £399.

Naim will launch this summer the HDX which combines the performance of a Naim audiophile CD player with the convenience of a good MP3 player. The HDX is a stand-alone Hard Disk player/CD player. It can be connected to any wired network, to play or stream digital music (WAV/MP3/AAC/FLAC/WMA) from shared drives on the network, and it can grab data and cover art from Internet.

Also the HDX has the ability to rip CDS at full WAV format 16-Bit 44.1kHz. The data is copied to one of the internal 400GB drives and every night that drive backs up automatically to the second internal 400GB drive.

Paradigm has introduced its 4th generation PDR subwoofers, the PDR-8 and PDR-10. Both models are reinforced polymer-composite cones on the 8.5" and 10.5" single forward-firing drivers. The new cone material ensures excellent rigidity and superb internal damping.

Two RCA (L/R-Mono) line-level inputs have been added to accommodate L/R line or Sub-Outputs as well as LFE-Outputs for receivers, processors and other line-level sources. They also offer auto-On/Off, phase alignment switch for 0 degrees or 180 degrees and cut-off frequency control.

The Paradigm PDR-8 v.4 and PDR-10 v.4 have removable grilles (for customization) and will be available in black or silver color.

Dynaudio has unveiled a new line of loudspeakers for home theater, the Excite. Including the X12, X16, X22, X32 and X36, this product range is equipped with a new driver technology with MSP (magnesium silicate polymer) membranes, die-cast aluminum frame baskets, lightweight aluminum voice coils, phase aligned first-order crossover networks and soft dome tweeters. This driver offers a longer linear excursion of the voice coil, allowing for higher dynamics at high volumes.

All models feature a low-resonance cabinet construction and a rigid 25mm front baffle, available in rosewood, cherry, black ash or maple finish and will start shipping in June.

Martin Logan has announced the introduction of the CLX, the world's finest full-range electrostatic line source loudspeaker.
