Pinnacle Systems is going to launch next month its new Plug-and-Play Digital Media Receiver with an affordable price of $199. The ShowCenter 250HD is a robust plug-and-play digital media adapter that enables users to link any home entertainment center with all of their networked PCs and NAS devices. It is compatible with UPnP (Universal Plug-and-Play) AV media server applications and, it can be used along with Windows Vista, Windows XP or Mac OS systems. The unit is equipped with built-in wired Ethernet and wireless 802.11B/G connectivity and it supports the streaming of audio files (MP3, WMA, WMA Pro, WMA lossless, WMA-DRM and PCM WAV uncompressed), video files (Windows Media 9, Windows Media 9 HD, WMV-DRM, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DivX 3.11 to DivX HD and XviD) and pictures in JPEG and PNG.

Buffalo just released 2 new network streamers, the LT-H90LAN (Lan Only), and a wireless model the LT-H90WN (Lan and Wifi A/B/G/N). With these new devices, you will be able to stream your musics (AAC, MPEG Audio, WMA, WM DRM 10 and MP3), pictures (JPEG, PNG, BMP, GIF), as well as video (Mpeg-2, H.264 and WMV9), in Full HD resolution: 1920x1080, but no support of DivX/XviD files. Both models feature USB 2.0 connectivity, an USB card reader, an ethernet port, analog/digital audio outputs, HDMI/composite connectors and a wireless remote. These media streamers are priced at $190 for the LT-H90LAN and $280 for the enhanced model (LT-H90WN).

Okoro Media Systems, manufacturer of Digital Entertainment Systems for the high end audio video market, is pleased to announce the availability of the CX series of media center PCs. The CX series are "entry-level" Digital Entertainment Systems built with CableCARD technology. The CX series models include HDCP compliant video, Dolby Digital audio, Intel Core 2 Duo technology and an ATI Digital Cable Tuner (DCT). The OMS-CX100 features an Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 2.33GHz Dual Core, a NVIDIA 8500 GT graphics card, 2GB of DDR2 memory, a 320GB hard drive storage and a 16x Dual-Layer DVD writer. The OMS-CX100 is the first model available in the CX line and is priced at $1795.00.

Will be available soon through the EZ4media's website for $249.00, the EZfetch can stream wireless almost all audio, video and pictures formats to your home entertainment system. UPnP AV v1.0 and DLNA v1.5 compliant device, It enables simple and robust connectivity among stand-alone computers, network attached storage (NAS) devices, most USB Flash Drives and many Wi-Fi enabled devices. The package contains a remote control and SimpleCenter server software, notice that you must have Windows XP or Windows Vista to get it works.

| Sony Bravia TV add-ons BRX-A250 Digital Recorder and BRX-NT1 VOD Box |

After the new Bravia screens series X7000/X5050/X5000/W5000/V5000/V3000/J5000/J3000, Sony plans to launch for them 2 new add-ons, the BRX-A250 and the BRX-NT1. The BRX-A250 (on the left) is a Digital recorder with a 250GB HDD able to record up to 70 hours of High-Definition television and gets an additional digital tuner (Digital Hi-Vision Tuner) with an HDMI output for a fully digital transmission. The BRX-NT1 (on the right) is a Network TV Box with the ability to connect itself to VoD Services (Video on Demand) via the LAN terminal and the system adopts Sony's XMB interface for an easier navigation. The box gets 1x HDMI output, 1x optical output, 1x LAN connector and 1x USB port. The Sony BRX-A250 and the BRX-NT1 will start shipping in Mid-November in Japan but at the moment we don't know is Sony will release these add-ons outside the Japan.
